The graduation

Today was Daria's graduation in Ft Worth. We had excellent seats thanks to Daria's dad who's a part of the faculty. This year's graduation ceremony was held outside, in front of the rotunda. It was a beautiful sight, until the sun took full force. 

A little history about Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary:

*It was a part of Baylor School of Theology until 1908

*It started an undergraduate college named The College of Southwestern in 2005 

*This graduation was particularly special because:

   1. Southwestern is celebrating 100 years

   2. The College of Southwestern celebrated its first graduation with a total of 11 students

   3.  The seminary faculty began a new tradition of wearing cowboy hats to every graduation :)

Right when Daria walked across the stage, Dr. Patterson, the president, asked her dad to give her the diploma. It was sweet.

After the ceremony, we got to see her.

The three amigos since freshman year at DBU, 2004/2005.

And after Josh and I got home, we realized what the sun did!

Poor Josh!

Congrats to all 2008 graduates!!
